Dr. Daniel Brown

Dr. Daniel Brown is a 1992 graduate of Union City High School. While at Union City Dr. Brown participated in Cross Country, Football, Wrestling, and Track & Field. After graduation Dr. Brown attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience. Dr. Brown continued his education at MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where he received his Doctorate in Medicine.
Dr. Brown completed his Fellowship in Microsurgical and Craniofacial Research at New York University Medical Center Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He then completed his Residency and Chief Residency in General Surgery at New York Medical College in Manhattan, New York and his Residency/Chief Residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Brown is a Board Certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Upon completing his education and training Dr. Brown opened Luxe Pacifica, a luxery cosmetic plastic surgery and skin care clinic in La Jolla, CA. Dr. Brown’s successful clinic, surgical skills, and caring demeanor have made him one of the most well-respected plastic surgeons in the San Diego area. Dr. Brown also has made his mark in the medical field with his research on stem cell therapy on wound healing, novel techniques to grow facial bones for syndromic children, and the effects of radiation on wound healing and new blood vessel growth. He has had the privilege of having his research published in prestigious medical journals and has presented his findings throughout the United States, France, Australia, and Great Britain. Dr. Brown is also featured regularly on the live television program “San Diego Living” helping to educate people on their cosmetic surgery options to look and feel their best.
Dr. Brown also volunteers his skills and time to the non-profit organization InterFACE, which funds and performs primarily cleft palate repairs for children in Mexico and serves the San Diego community by performing emergency surgeries for trauma victims, reconstructing their bodies and their lives.
Dr. Brown currently resides in San Diego with his wife Kathryn and daughter Samantha and continues to successfully run his Luxe Pacifica Clinic.
