Peg and Emory were also donors for the Union City Parks lights and sporting equipment. They also were sponsors of the Union City Swimming Pool and contributed to the construction of the hot tub that was installed several years ago. Peg and Emory were both very active in the First United Methodist Church. Both of them taught Sunday School classes, were youth leaders for many years, and were chosen to be on the Administrative Board.
